Children of the Gods: Apophis Reopens the War
When Apophis entered the Cheyenne Mountain gate room with armed Jaffa, the United States learned that Ra had never been the only power in the galaxy. This episode examines the events of “Children of the Gods,” in which a surprise attack on Stargate Command and a second raid on Abydos reopened the conflict Earth thought it had ended. Apophis’s forces abducted personnel, captured Sha’re and Skaara, and selected human hosts for Goa’uld symbiotes, turning personal loss into strategic urgency.
