Cameron Mitchell fought him while Carter and Major Marks searched for the shutdown command hidden in the program. The archive made Odyssey a target worth capturing rather than destroying. The matter converter and time-dilation system required enormous power. Odyssey was therefore more than the strongest battlecruiser Earth had built.
