Apophis: The Enemy Who Started the Modern War
Apophis became Earth’s first sustained Goa’uld enemy by turning an isolated victory over Ra into a wider interstellar war. His raid on Stargate Command proved that hostile forces could dial Earth directly, while the abductions of Sha’re and Skaara made the conflict personal for SG-1. This episode traces Apophis from his stronghold on Chulak through his campaigns against Earth, rival System Lords, and rebellious Jaffa.
