Atlantis on Earth: The Pegasus War Without an Ending
Atlantis ended the immediate Wraith assault floating in San Francisco Bay, closer to Earth than at any time since the Lanteans abandoned Pegasus. Its arrival created an extraordinary strategic reversal. The expedition had returned with an Ancient city, experienced personnel, Pegasus intelligence, and technologies capable of reshaping planetary defense. Yet the larger war remained unresolved. Wraith hives still controlled much of Pegasus, Todd and other faction leaders continued pursuing their own agendas, human worlds remained vulnerable to culling, and Atlantis’s departure had removed the strongest allied base from the galaxy. This episode examines the finale as a pause rather than a victory. Earth had to decide whether to conceal, study, redeploy, or permanently retain the city, while the expedition faced responsibility for allies left behind.
