Klorel, Skaara, and the Assault Force Built for Earth
Klorel was both an enemy commander and a prisoner inside a stolen body. The Goa’uld symbiote occupying Skaara served as the son of Apophis and commanded one of the two Ha’tak motherships dispatched to destroy Earth. This episode examines how the invasion force was assembled, why Goa’uld rulers placed trusted family members in major commands, and how Skaara’s suppressed identity complicated SG-1’s response. Using coordinates recovered from an alternate reality, SG-1 boarded Klorel’s vessel through its Stargate before the fleet reached Earth. Their presence exposed the interior of a Goa’uld capital ship, the invasion timetable, and the vulnerability created by overconfidence. Skaara briefly regained control and appealed to his friends, proving that a host could remain conscious beneath Goa’uld domination. Klorel therefore embodied the war’s central cruelty: the enemy turned captured humans into both weapons and symbols of conquest. Visit ImaginedBattlefield.com for more military and science fiction.
