The Battle of Dakara: Revolution Under Replicator Attack
The Battle of Dakara brought revolution, machine invasion, and Goa’uld ambition together around an Ancient device capable of affecting matter across the galaxy. Free Jaffa forces had captured the world as the symbolic center of their uprising, but Replicator fleets were dismantling the System Lords and converging on the same target. This episode examines the unstable coalition of Samantha Carter, Jacob Carter and Selmak, Ba’al, and Jaffa leaders attempting to recalibrate the Dakara weapon. Their plan used the Stargate network to transmit a pulse tuned to the Replicators’ structure, destroying the machines before they could adapt. Free Jaffa warriors defended the site while Daniel Jackson resisted Replicator Carter from within the collective. The weapon succeeded, but Jacob and Selmak did not survive the wider crisis, and Anubis still intended to use Dakara to erase life and remake the galaxy.
